In the mist of it all I have come to understand a little more, but i still have way more to learn. Right now I find myself facing a huge financial crisis because of the rapidly falling economy and to make matters worse I don't have a job. It's so difficult for me to get a job especially since I will be going back to school in April, and it looks bad when you've had four jobs within the past three years. (These jobs include Magic Mountain from 07/2006 - 08/2007, Jamba Juice from 02/2008 - 08/2008, William S. Hart USD from 07/2008-08/2008 [this was a summer job], and Western Wats from 10/2008 - 12/2008 [which I had while I was up at school]. I really just need my $100 down payment for my housing for when i go back up to school. I can't WAIT till I can go back up there! There's so much to do, and a lot that has been done. I hope that I can finish school in a timely manner. I really do want to serve a mission, and I can't express how much love I feel for my savior and what he's done for me. I want to serve somewhere that doesn't speak English, but of course I will serve where I am sent to. Right now I'm just waiting for everything to happen. I will have to wait the minimum of three years before I even get to turn in my papers. I'm only at the ripe age of 18. I've been on a couple dates these past couple of weeks with a man named Jared,
and to be honest, I had no IDEA that he was 29.. that's a little old for me, but he's still a great guy, and I think that we could be really good friends, nothing more. I don't want him to get the wrong idea so I think that I will try to say no to him when he asks me out on dates. i just always have a hard tome saying, "NO". It's snowing, and it's so cold. The sun's out though, and I think it will be a beautiful day!
My family is doing well I suppose. Alicia Duncan is now Alicia Rogers and they will be expecting their first baby in July. They find out the gender today! Christiana is up at BYU-I right now having a grand ol' time. She loves school. David just turned 16 and he will be going on his first date on Saturday (February 14Th). Tyler is getting better and better each day, though he struggles a LOT with obeying when mom and dad aren't around. Mom and Dad are doing... as well as they could. They are struggling a lot with the falling economy as well so we all find ourselves at a little bit of a finical crisis, but I know that in the end we will be fine.
That's all I have for today, and I look forward to updating this blog kinda like a journal.
