Bored on a Sunday After Work.

Christmas has been an absolute blast this year! Christopher and I found ourselves in California for Christiana and Marcus's wedding. We drove back and forth from LA three different times!!!! (during rush hour traffic= NOT FUN!) We were excited to receive so many awesome presents this year, but most importantly to give presents.
I still have not gotten any news on SFA, but my hopes are still high! I plan to go into their Social Work program and graduate with a Bachelors in it.

Christopher is still going to school as well, probably at Panola college still. He only has one more year left before he's done with school.
On a different note, Christopher and I are trying to buy a house. It's such a long process but we are still looking for the best one for us at this point in time.

Well, that's all the new that I have this time.
I'll write more later!

November 11, 2010

Well, I seem to always have an issue writting on this. I think I will get better because I finally have a new computer.

I am married, and have been since July 23rd, 2010!!!
I am finishing up this semester at Panola community college in Carthage, TX. I will hopefully be transferring to Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Tx which is located 5 minutes from our little apartment. Christopher is finishing up this semester up at Panola College and will be turing to work full time at his current job at Gordon's (Kay) Jewelers and will be looking for a better job working in the oil field full time.
Our marriage is going wonderfully! It will be our 6 month anniversary at the end of January 2011. As for kids, we have had a miscarriage and are still trying. Wish us luck!

The New Year

So a LOT of things have happened during the last time that I have written on this thing. I am engaged to the love of my forevers. His name is Christopher Clayton Windham!!! He's an awesome guy. We have been dating for 6 months. I met him through Christiana actually. Christiana had me answer the phone and pretend to be her. After about 10 minutes I realized that I really liked talking to this guy and decided to tell him that I was really Christiana's twin sister Melanie. We hit it off right away talking on the phone for hours at a time. It was a long-distance relationship at first, but it was so worth it. during the weekend of the October General Conference which happened to fall on my birthday as well, I went up to General Conference because Christopher had gotten us tickets from his branch president. We met on the 2nd of October for the first time in person. He was soooo cute!!!! He brought me flowers! Our first kiss was the cutest thing ever! HE went to kiss me after handing me the flowers and missed. He instead kissed my neck. After that miss he tried again and got my lips the second time. It was wonderful!!!! I got MAJOR butterflies and I'm sure he did too. Ever since then we knew that we were just meant for one another. Many other things happened thereafter. I invited him to come over to my house for Thanksgiving and then he invited me over to his house for Christmas in Texas. It was sooo great!! he met my family and then I got to meet his family. I just LOVE his family. His Mom is a lot like me. Christopher has a younger sister named Shauna that was adopted and an older Brother named Daniel. His dad is pretty cool too. he picks on me all the time. Christopher says that when he picks on someone it just means that he likes them. Shauna is kinda in the same predicament as Ali was in a year ago. She got pregnant by a boy. But her boy is a member. His name is Brian and they got married on January 2nd, 2010. She's going to have a baby girl. Brian does have a LOT of growing up to do though. I hope that they can make it okay. Hopefully in a year they will be able to get sealed in the temple.
